Terms and Conditions

LIQUOR LICENSE:

 

We do not carry a liquor license to sell alcohol. The client must secure all permits required for the event. We do not own or sell alcoholic beverages but will provide you with Alcohol variety and quantity recommendations and a shopping list based on the number of guests and type of bar you will be offering. Cocktail Queens Mobile Bartending is fully insured with liquor liability insurance. Please check with your venue to see if they require a certificate of insurance so we can provide one.

ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION:

Alcohol will be served in accordance with Maryland State Liquor laws and regulations. The Servicer will not serve alcohol to minors (anyone under the legal age of 21 years). The Servicer will require proof of age (I.D.) for all guests of a questionable age partaking in alcoholic beverages. The Servicer will not be held liable for minors who consume alcohol during the event given by another adult.

Our bartenders are TIPs-certified (Alcohol awareness training). However, the host of the event is ultimately responsible for all invited guests and their actions. Cocktail Queens reserves the right to refuse service to any guest(s) who seem to have had too much to drink, per our judgment. Cocktail Queens mobile bar company works with you to make the call.

GRATUITY :

Service fees do not include gratuity for the bartender, which can be handled one of two ways. You may allow a tip jar to be placed on the mobile bartending service bar plus a 12% gratuity fee which is the preferred method, or opt in “hosted gratuity” in which the tip jar is eliminated, and the host pays a 20% tip fee.

PAYMENT:

​

All packages require a Non-Refundable initial payment of 25% of the total invoice. The total balance due will need to be paid two (2) weeks before the date of the event. Cocktail Queens  cannot perform any mobile bartending services until full payment is received. The retainer is non-refundable once the date is secured and staff is scheduled. However, you can reschedule with another date up to six (6) months later and use the retainer for the rescheduled event. We accept the following forms of payment: Cash, Checks, Venmo and Zelle.

TRAVEL:

​

Cocktail Queens is happy to travel anywhere in the DMV. All travel within 40 miles is included in the service fee. Any mile over the 30 miles will be $2/ mile and it will be calculated from the 21061 zip code.
